Reflex Horns

The Sanming Syncro-Mix® H-SM4X Horn's structure enables it to synchronize all wave forms from the multiple driver unit compound while sound pressure is still in early stages of expansion. Each driver has an equal sound path arc at the compound and relays its energy through its own path. This eliminates air turbulance and greatly reduces mutual sound interference from various drivers.

By properly enforcing sound pressure from the multiple drivers, the horn maximizes gain in high frequency response. To achieve longer range sound penetration, adding an H-SM4X reflex horn is very effective.

H-SM4X: 180 Hz low frequency cut-off. 125º x 60º dispersion. 4 x 1.375"-18 horn coupler. Gray finish. Glass fiber reinforced plastic material. 26.8" (W) x 16.7" (H) x 21.7" (D) dimension. Weighs 22 lbs (without driver).

This cluster horn accommodates four drivers, 240 watt or 400 watt total in each. It casts out enough sound pressure, 95 dB at 100 meters or 99 dB at 100 meters respectively, to penetrate any ambient noise level with excellent intelligibility, 180 Hz-6.5k Hz (-20 dB) or 180 Hz-7.5k Hz ( -20 dB) of frequency response.
Wide angle coverage and sturdy U-shape steel bracket make planning and installation simple and easy.

Sanming reflex horns are ideal in football stadiums and sports arenas, church buildings, bell towers, guard stations, etc. By doing our own precision metal work, we can construct an accurate sound path which creates a powerful sound casting effect. Rugged metal construction and a durable finish ward off harsh weather with ease.

HK-16: 250 Hz low frequency cut-off. 120º x 60º dispersion. Low profile dimension, 16" (W) x 9.45" (H) x 10.6" (L). Gray color mold injected horn bell; black color finished steel bracket. 2.5 ft. air column length. 1.375" - 18 driver horn coupler. For car top mounting (HK-16/AS) or building installation (HK-16AL).

H-16: 220 Hz low frequency cut-off. 95º dispersion, 16" x 12.75". 2.5 ft. air column length. Spun aluminum in charcoal gray finish.

H-20: 180 Hz low frequency cut-off. 85º dispersion, 20" x 15.372". 3.5 ft. air column length. Spun aluminum in charcoal gray finish.

H-24: 150 Hz low frequency cut-off. 75º dispersion, 24" x 20". 4.5 ft. air column length. Heavy duty spun aluminum in baked enamel gray finish.
